Michael HarperCEO and PresidentMike has more than 20 years of successful experience in general management, sales, marketing and corporate development with both start-ups and large public companies delivering high technology products and services. Mike has held leadership positions with innovators in server virtualization including IBM and USinternetworking (USi), where he was instrumental in building USi from a startup to the ASP market leader, growing the annual revenue in his business unit from zero to approximately $120 million with a contract value in excess of $200 million. Mike has also held leadership positions at Silicon Graphics, Syfact and BNX. Mike holds a B.S. in electrical engineering from Tulane University, and an MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
John SuitPrincipal-Founder and CTOBringing 19 years of experience architecting and leading the technology groups of both start-ups and publicly held technology firms, John developed the core technology behind the Fortisphere products and founded the company in 2006. John comes to this position after a very successful effort as Co-Founder and CTO of SilentRunner, a product that became the basis for a successful company that was acquired by Computer Associates. John has held positions of leadership at both the VP and CTO levels, inventing and launching numerous new products in the security space. John continues to advise the Department of Defense as well as Directorate of Central Intelligence in the areas of Virtualization Security and Management, as well as Information Operations. John holds five U.S. and international patents in information security analysis and earned a B.Sc. in Computer science and information system management from the University of Maryland.
Dave CapuanoChief Marketing OfficerThroughout his 15-year career in the information technology industry, Dave has played a key role in leading the product portfolios and marketing activities of a series of new ventures. Most recently, Dave served as the Vice President of Product Management at e-Security, where he was instrumental in orchestrating the overhaul of the flagship Sentinel™ product, helping drive more than 50% annual growth leading to the company's $72M acquisition by Novell. Prior to joining e-Security, Dave served as the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management of SilentRunner, Inc., the market leading network forensic analysis solution that was acquired by Computer Associates. Other experience includes roles at TruSecure Corporation (Cybertrust), Bell Atlantic Internet Solutions (BAIS -- the precursor to Verizon Online), and PSINet, Inc. Dave holds a B.A. in economics from St. Lawrence University.
Vipul SharmaCo-Founder and Vice President of EngineeringVip has a demonstrated track record of more than 12 years of success in the design, implementation and management of multi-disciplinary engineering initiatives geared toward developing new and innovative technology solutions. In his extensive small and large firm experience, Vip has built strong and successful engineering organizations both on- and off-shore, re-oriented product directions from hardware to software, and worked with leading- edge technologies in the networking, virtualization, security and embedded space. His experience includes management and leadership positions at various companies, such as Verint Video Systems, Eden Networks, Cognio, Zagros Networks, Seneca Networks and Hughes Network Systems. Software developed by Vip and his teams has been deployed in large enterprises, such as Ford, ED Jones, Target, Mobil, Home Depot and Exxon. Vip has been granted one patent, and has filed many more in the QoS and security spaces. He holds a Bachelor of Technology degree from the Institute of Engineering and Technology, India, and has completed all requirements for an MS in computer science from CSU, Chico.
Dan HardingVice President of SalesDan has more than 15 years of experience in sales and sales management. Most recently Dan worked with SWsoft, a leader in server virtualization and automation, as the Vice President of Enterprise Sales where he developed and grew the virtualization revenue by more than 200 percent annually for the US enterprise markets. Prior to joining SWsoft, Dan was Regional Vice President of Sales for Cable and Wireless, a leader in IP network and enterprise hosting solutions. Before joining Cable and Wireless, Dan was employed by dynamicsoft (purchased by Cisco), a leading provider of infrastructure software. Previously, Dan spent 6 years at UUNet where he completed his tenure as Regional Vice President of Carrier Sales, managing a sales team that focused on key accounts including Dell, AOL, BellSouth, Earthlink, Savvis, Qwest, and Gateway. Dan holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Marymount University.
Jeff PuffenbergerVice President of Business DevelopmentJeff is an experienced sales professional with more than 15 years of diverse experience in sales management, channel sales management, strategic alliances, and business development with global enterprise software and service companies, including Aelita, NetIQ, Network Associates, and Legent. He was most recently Vice President of Strategic Alliances & Business Development at Configuresoft, where he established formal partnerships with Microsoft, EDS, EMC, Deloitte, and Siemens. In addition, during his career Jeff has built key strategic alliance relationships and partnerships with companies such as Hewlett Packard, IBM, Unisys, Getronics, and NCR. Jeff holds a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies from West Virginia University.
Vince ZumboChief Financial OfficerVince brings over 20 years of financial, administrative, and human resource experience in high technology. A significant amount of his experience has been with venture capital backed start-ups providing software solutions, telecommunications products, semiconductor technology, and systems integration services. Vince previously served as Chief Financial Officer at ServiceBench, which was acquired by N.E.W. Customer Service Companies, Inc. Prior to ServiceBench, he was CFO at Princeton Optronics, Zagros Networks, and Acorn Networks. Vince has also held senior financial management positions at Formtek, Inc., which was acquired by Lockheed Martin Corporation and Paradyne Corporation during which time the company experienced significant growth from $10 million to over $300 million in sales and a highly successful IPO. Vince holds a Bachelors in Business Administration in Accounting from Siena College.
